Franklin students celebrate awards at annual SEND awards

We are delighted to share that two of our outstanding students have been named winners at this year's North East Lincolnshire SEND Awards at Grimsby Town Hall.

Spike Dixon received the Education and Learning Award, while Jack Woodforth and the Tuesday Wii group were recognised with the Friendship Award.

Spike's exceptional positive attitude, welcoming demeanour, and selfless nature were recognised by the judges, along with the unwavering support Spike gives his classmates.

Jack and the Wii group impressed the judges, noting that they were a shining example of friendship and inclusivity.

The event, organised by Northeast Lincolnshire Council and in conjunction with the Young People's Advisory Group (YPAG), celebrates the incredible children and young people in our region with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as the unsung heroes who support them, and make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs and their families.
