We are delighted to announce that two of our amazing students have been selected as winners in their nominated categories at the upcoming North East Lincolnshire SEND Awards.
Out of over 325 nominations, students Spike Dixon and Jack Woodforth, along with members of the Tuesday Wii group, have been recognised for their remarkable achievements and contributions. Spike has won the Education and Learning Award, while Jack and members of the Tuesday Wii group have secured the Friendship Award.
On hearing the fantastic news, Wendy Ellis, Interim Principal, Franklin Sixth Form College, said: " A huge congratulations to Spike, Jack, and the Tuesday Wii group. We are extremely proud to see our students being acknowledged for their hard work and dedication. They are a shining example of the culture of Franklin, and they, along with families and friends, should be immensely proud of their achievements.
The event celebrates the incredible children and young people in our region with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and the unsung heroes who support them and make a real difference to the lives of children and young people with additional needs and their families. The awards ceremony, organised by North East Lincolnshire Council, will take place on July 9th at Grimsby Town Hall.
