If you have an interest in Science and want to explore the world around you and make a difference, then the T Level Science is the perfect course for you.

It offers a combination of classroom learning and practical hands-on experience through an industry placement of 315 hours throughout the course. You'll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and 20% at an industry placement, developing the essential knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for a successful career within the Science sector.


Course Content

In the first year of this comprehensive course, you’ll study core science modules across all of the science disciplines, equipping you with a solid foundation for working in the Science sector. You will explore topics including working within the science sector, health, safety, and environmental considerations, managing information and data, and an in-depth exploration of biology, chemistry and physics in practice. You will practice and gain competency in scientific methodology and use experimental equipment and techniques.

During Year 2, you’ll undertake three assignments designed to showcase your practical skills, which, are tailored to your chosen occupational specialism. At the core of your occupational specialisation, you’ll focus on the skills learned in practice and the theory from the classroom to plan, perform and review a given scenario, building your knowledge and expertise in this critical area.
