The T-Level for Health (Supporting Adult Nursing) offers you a mixture of classroom learning and ‘on-the-job’ experience during an industry placement of 315 hours over the duration of the course. You'll spend 80% of your time in the classroom and 20% at placement with an employer to give you the behaviours, skills, and knowledge essential for a career in nursing.
Course Content
In the first year of this comprehensive course, you’ll delve into a diverse set of modules, equipping you with a strong foundation in the Health & Science sector. Topics covered include Epidemiology, Health, safety, and environmental considerations, managing information and data, and an in-depth exploration of various Body systems, including reproductive and cardiovascular systems, among others. You’ll also gain insights into scientific and clinical practice, person-cantered care, infection prevention and control, safeguarding, and immunology. Moving on to Year 2, you’ll undertake a series of three assignments carefully crafted to showcase your practical skills tailored to your chosen occupational specialism. In the core of your occupational specialisation, you’ll focus on supporting the adult nursing team, honing your expertise in this critical area.
