As a student on the T Level in Education & Early Years course, you’ll spend three days a week learning from our fantastic Education and Early Years team and the remaining two days will be spent on placement in an early years setting and a primary school setting, giving you invaluable work experience and insight into your chosen industry as you put what you learn in the classroom into practice.
Course Content
This innovative T Level course will expand your knowledge and understanding in a range of subjects, including child behaviour and language acquisition, how a child develops, the role in which the family and support agencies work in relation to a child, safeguarding and special educational needs. You’ll also focus on becoming a reflective practitioner, which is crucial when working in education and early years. As part of studying this T Level, you’ll also complete an Supplementary Paediatric First Aid course, so you’re ready to work in the childcare industry as soon as you graduate.
You'll complete 750 hours workplace to prepare you and develop key employability skills. This is timetabled at 2 days per week.

Our Entry Requirements
Level 3 general entry criteria and a Grade 4 in English Language and Maths.
An Enhanced DBS Disclosure is also required - which the college will fund.
There are mandatory costs for uniform required for the placement element of this course, this may be funded through our Student Financial Support Fund.
