Course Content

Spanish is a subject that requires a lot of speaking, so you’ll get plenty of individual speaking practice to develop your proficiency and confidence. Don’t worry, you’ll be provided with plenty of reading, listening, and skills support. As part of the course, you’ll study a Spanish-language film and read the novel Like Water for Chocolate. You’ll also dive into the culture and practices of the Spanish-speaking world, examine multiculturalism in Spain, and investigate the effects of the Spanish Civil War. A modern foreign language qualification opens a wide variety of opportunities and will make you a more attractive candidate whether you progress into higher education or employment.
