Youth Work
Level 2 Certificate
Do you want to inspire and support the young people in the local community? This is an exciting opportunity to join a growth area in the local community. Working in partnership with the local Youth Work Alliance, you will spend an evening a week in college learning the theory of youth work, with subject specialist youth work staff and then have a weekly placement in a local youth work organisation to develop your practical skills to achieve the occupational competency required of this course. Throughout the course, you will study subjects such as Theory of Youth Work, Safeguarding, Reflective Practice, and Work-based Practice in Youth Work. Once completed you will be a Level 2 JNC qualified practitioner ready for employment in local youth work organisations.
