Our T Level Education & Early Years students welcomed North Lindsey College to Franklin

FRA01302

Last week, our T Level Education and Early Years students welcomed North Lindsey College to Franklin.

The Year 2 students from North Lindsey delivered a session to our Year 1 students, showcasing the wide range of knowledge they've developed throughout the course.

As both sets of students are studying the T Level, it was a fantastic opportunity for the Year 2 students from North Lindsey to educate our students on the skills they have developed over the years, and for all students to learn from each other.

The students articulated the session incredibly well, and our students joined in on all activities with great enthusiasm and positivity.

The lesson focused on different types of friendships and their positive and negative impacts, and featured a range of interactive activities using yarn and Lego.

Throughout the session, students developed communication skills, which are vital to working in an education setting, and other key skills such as problem-solving, confidence and adaptability.

With our T Level in Education and Early Years, students spend 3 days a week learning from our fantastic Childcare staff, and the other 2 days on placement in an early years setting, providing students with valuable work experience and helping them progress into a range of careers in nurseries and early years settings.
