This week, we officially opened our new state-of-the-art learning centre, The Bridge.
If the reaction from student current students, staff, and alumni reaching out on social media is any thing to go by, the new facility is already beloved.
What does The Bridge offer?
The Bridge offers students a place to prepare for their best possible futures and access the resources, support, and development opportunities needed to excel.
It offers high-end, flexible learning facilities and digital resources alongside dedicated study spaces to provide students with a modern and engaging environment to maximise learning and skills development.
The Bridge serves as a comprehensive support hub, bringing together a range of programmes and services under one roof. These include study, progression, and employability skills support, as well as key study skills such as essay writing and revision.
Additionally, our nationally-recognised Centre for Professional Development aims to maximise employment and life chances for students through strong connections with employers and universities.
As if that wasn’t enough, there’s also an on-site coffee shop serving Starbucks, so students can enjoy a coffee of iced caramel macchiato while they study.

To help students get to grips with the new learning centre and all it offers, we’ve put together a handy user guide. Students will have been emailed a link to access it digitally, but physical copies are available throughout The Bridge.
