Franklin is immensely proud to be central to the communities we serve and the opening of our new Community Hub was an occasion for us to celebrate a new chapter in the college's history. The Community Hub will extend our outstanding curriculum work to provide life-changing educational opportunities for adults in our community, and embedded within our Centre for Professional Development.
The Community Hub will also support our work in engaging with home educated young people as they move back into mainstream education and will also provide supported work-space for the young people of our community to assist in developing new innovative business ideas.
Our thanks to our local MP Lia Nici for performing the honours, and to all of our visitors; local employers, the University of Hull, Franklin Governors and representatives from a range of community partners for making the event an occasion to remember.
